IF YOU’RE PLANNING A DIY FARM WEDDING, YOU’LL BE INSPIRED BY THIS SCOTTISH BORDERS WEDDING!

DIY FARM Wedding Photography
Caroline and Shea’s epic DIY Farm wedding, at Shea’s family farm in the Scottish Borders. It was a gorgeous day with a DIY festival theme, and the happy couple partied on for three straight days after the wedding!
The ceremony
The ceremony was an intimate service in the apple orchard at the farm. The ceremony was extra special as it was led by their friend who is also a Celebrant.
They decorated the area with festival themed festoon lights, hay bales and bunting. The reception was in a marquee next to the orchard – everything was so relaxed and rustic. DIY farm weddings are so good because you can design everything yourselves.
Why DIY Farm weddings are a great idea
Having your own DIY Farm wedding means you can design everything yourselves. You can also party for as long as you’ve got the energy for! – which is exactly what Caroline and Shea did with an epic three-day celebration!
After the ceremony
The couple had a drinks reception in the afternoon, confetti and canapés. Dinner followed with a surprise singing waiter, and then everybody piled on to the dance floor to cut some shapes.
The couple
Caroline wore a stunning dress from Marrime Bridal and Shea wore a light coloured Hugo Boss suit and they looked really incredible.
The couple got in touch with me last year, and their enquiry was so fun. They said they wanted a relaxed photographer, and I loved that they were so excited about celebrating with family and friends.
