The ceremony
The wedding ceremony was a cosy affair held in the Threshing Hall at Doxford Barns in Northumberland.
They decorated the Threshing Hall with sunflowers and fairy lights, which looked amazing. The reception was in the large barn – I love this venue because it’s so rural and rustic. Weddings at Doxford Barn are very laid-back and so rustic!

The couple had a drinks reception in the afternoon, and a gorgeous meal. Then a DJ disco with plenty more drinks and laughs into the evening.

Mel wore a stunning Air Barcelona dress with a sunflower bouquet. Ant wore a smart grey suit and they looked really incredible.
The couple got in touch with me last year, after I had photographed their friends wedding. They said they wanted a relaxed photographer, after they had seen how I worked. I loved that they were so excited about celebrating with family and friends.
