YOUR FIFTEEN MINUTES

WITHOUT LEAVING YOUR OWN WEDDING

Most couples dread the couple portraits. The idea of being taken away from their guests, posed around a field and told to look natural while someone counts to three.

That’s not how we do it.

We slip away for ten or fifteen minutes at a time, usually when the light is doing something interesting or when you fancy a breather from the room. We wander, we chat, I’m shooting the whole time. You barely notice.

No instructions, no stiff poses, no cheesy direction. Just you two, finally alone together for the first time all day.

Those are usually some of the best photos from the whole day.

GOT SOME QUESTIONS?

I work on a first come, first serve basis, once the deposit is paid and your contract signed, your wedding date is firmly secured. A booking fee of £300 takes your date off my availability list. As soon as this is received, your booking is confirmed and I’ll send you an invoice and receipt for your non-refundable deposit. Full payment is required no later than one month before your wedding.

Sorry, but I can’t. To be fair to everyone, and due to the volume of enquiries I receive, a date is only reserved on receipt of a completed booking form, contract and booking fee.

I live in Durham in the North East of England, and I cover County Durham, Newcastle, Northumberland, Cumbria, The Lake District, Yorkshire, The Scottish Borders and further afield. Weddings further than a 50 mile radius of Durham will incur an extra charge for travel.

For every hour that I’m with you, you can expect around 50 unique images, individually edited and polished by yours truly. So for ten hours, that’s over 500 edited images. The images are all available to download as HiRes files, no extra charges.

Of course you can, I encourage it. I always grant my clients full personal use with their supplied images. High resolution with no watermarks. You’re welcome to order prints directly from your online Gallery, or print them yourselves. I always encourage you make a back up of your images as USB’s do not last forever.

Yes. It’s important you have a photographic record of your family and the people that are important to you. However, I strongly suggest you limit your choices to no more than around 8 choices. These images will be quick, fun, and as informal as they can be.

Most couples feel this way – but honestly, you’d be surprised. I’m not there to make you perform for the camera. I’m there to capture what’s already happening. Most people forget I’m there pretty quickly.

My pricing includes travel up to a 50 mile radius of Durham. For weddings further afield, a small fuel charge is added, and if an overnight stay is required, I will find a cheap and cheerful hotel nearby and this will be added to the final cost.

No, I retain the Copyright, but you get Printing Rights. This means that every photo I deliver will be yours to download, save, share and print. There are no hidden extra costs for photos. You are welcome to order prints and products from the Store attached to your Gallery, or order your own separately.

Documentary and instinctive. I work fast and quietly, shooting what’s happening rather than directing it. Roughly 90% of what I deliver is completely candid. I’m really passionate about allowing your day to flow smoothly. You’ll probably not notice me for the majority of your day. My couples often say they can’t believe how I’ve managed to capture so many moments they had missed.

I’ll upload all of your edited images onto a private password protected Gallery, you’ll be able to download, print and share to your hearts content. There’s also a Store attached to the Gallery for you and your friends and family to order prints and products
