The Biscuit Factory Wedding Newcastle
AN INTIMATE, MICRO WEDDING AT THE BISCUIT FACTORY, NEWCASTLE
If you love intimate, micro weddings, wild dried florals, graffiti, and flicking two fingers at Covid-19, you’ll love this Newcastle Biscuit Factory wedding!
Ruth and Ricci got married on Saturday at The Biscuit Factory, Newcastle, just before the second Covid-19 lockdown. It was such a happy day, with only 15 guests. It made for a really intimate celebration!
First look
Ruth and Ricci decided on a “first look” before the official bit. This was great because it meant we could do some brilliant couples portraits near the Biscuit Factory. We went along the cool urban areas of the Ouseburn in Newcastle. Think graffiti walls, railway arches and street art. We had some great sun light too, before it got too dark!
The ceremony
The ceremony was an intimate affair in the Biscuit Factory Art Gallery. There were only 15 guests allowed, and everyone had to wear face masks. Sitting amongst the works of art with the sun streaming in thought the industrial windows. Ruth had decorated the table with trendy dried boho florals and grasses, it was so magical! Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, the ceremony was short , but very emotional all the same.
The reception
They had a cosy meal downstairs in the Biscuit Factory, with a few informal speeches beforehand. The table decorations looked fabulous, with candles and more dried florals. It was divine. The happy couple downed some shots with their guests, and then tucked in to their meal.
The couple
Ruth wore an epic silver dress from The Vampires Wife and Ricci wore a dapper suit from Hugo Boss and they looked so perfect. Ruth’s dried flowers looked amazing too.
The couple met outside a bar in Tynemouth and have been together for 8 years. They got in touch with me after they said they wanted a relaxed photographer, who wouldn’t take over their day. They were most excited about celebrating with their closest family and friends.
Ruth and Ricci’s intimate Biscuit Factory wedding was everything I love about urban weddings and had such a fun atmosphere. Here’s their stunning intimate wedding!
