If you love winter barn weddings, laughing until you cry with your best mates and dancing on the tables then you’ll love this Yorkshire wedding!
Becca and Adam got married in December in the rustic Yorkshire Wedding Barn, which is a beautiful barn in North Yorkshire. It was such a chilly frosty happy day but the singing and dancing on the tables soon got everyone warmed up!
Becca and Adam got ready at the Yorkshire Wedding Barn, and the atmosphere was full of excitement. Becca and the girls got ready in a gorgeous room above the ceremony barn, while Adam and the boys were in one of the cosy cottages so they didn’t see each other. Becca had plenty of champagne and laughs with her bridesmaids. Adam had a few beers with the boys in the hot tub before heading along to the ceremony barn.
The ceremony was a festive, Christmassy affair in the barn. During the ceremony the winter sun was shining in and the fairy lights on the tree were twinkling, it was so magical! Special family members read some readings. It was such a personal service and so beautiful. There was plenty of fake snow confetti throwing afterwards, which always makes for fab photos!
They had a cocktail drinks reception in the afternoon, with canapés. In the evening, there were tasty wraps and chips! They decorated the venue with glittery Christmas decorations, cute miniature Christmas trees and tea lights, because it worked so well with the time of year. The tables were named after the twelve days of Christmas, which they all sang at the tops of their voices with the North East Singing Waiters, which was absolutely hilarious!
For dinner they had a slap up meal, fillet steak, sausages and chicken cooked outside on the giant BBQ which was absolutely delicious! The first dance was a good old traditional wedding shuffle, after a funny game of Mr and Mrs. and they finished off the evening with a live band and dancing.
Becca wore a gorgeous Maggie Sottero dress from Victoria Robson Bridal in Northallerton and Adam wore a dapper tweed Marc Darcy suit from Dandy Threads in Guisborough, and they looked so perfect. Becca’s flowers were from The Flower Studio in Richmond and they looked amazing.
The couple met on Tinder and have been together for 4 years. They said they wanted a laid-back photographer who would be great at capturing the day as a whole.
Becca and Adam’s wedding was everything I love about weddings with an amazing electric fun atmosphere… Here’s their stunning wedding!
